What is The Happy Reset® method?

The Happy Reset® method brings together trauma-informed coaching, nervous system regulation, Brainspotting, tension and trauma release, and nutrigenomics into a single integrated approach. Rather than managing symptoms, the work goes to what’s underneath them – the inherited patterns, stored stress and physiological responses that have often been there for years.

Who is it for?

The Happy Reset® method works with individuals, senior leaders and organisations. One-to-one clients tend to be people who’ve tried other approaches and are ready to work at more depth – navigating anxiety, chronic stress, hormonal transition, grief, chronic illness, or patterns they can see but can’t seem to change. On the corporate side, I work with teams and organisations where standard wellbeing provision isn’t reaching the problem.

How is this different from other approaches?

Most people who come to The Happy Reset® method have already tried talking therapy, life coaching, or general wellness programmes. What brings them here is that those things helped to a point but didn’t get to the root of what was driving the problem. This work starts with the body and the nervous system rather than the thinking mind – and it factors in genetic physiology, inherited stress patterns and ancestral influences that most approaches don’t touch. The result tends to be change that allows for deep growth, rather than change that requires constant maintenance.

Do I have to be spiritual or into alternative health?

No. The work is grounded in physiology, nervous system research and nutrigenomics – there’s nothing here that requires a particular belief system or prior interest in alternative health. An open mind is useful. Everything else follows from there.

How do I access the free content?

The blog is free to access anytime – no sign-up needed. For downloads including the Nervous System Toolkit, sign up to the newsletter and you’ll get access to those plus regular insights and updates as new resources are added.

What kind of support is offered between sessions or courses?

If you’re in a Reset 1:1 package or Workplace Reset programme, email support is included. You’ll always have a way to reach out between sessions if something comes up. Individual sessions in Tension and Trauma release, Brainspotting or nutritional support can also be booked separately if you want more focused work in a specific area.

Do I need special equipment or apps?

For online sessions you’ll need a computer with a working camera and microphone, and a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted – that part is essential. For Tensions and Trauma release work specifically, a yoga mat, blanket and cushion are useful. 

Is The Happy Reset® accessible for people with disabilities or additional needs?

Yes. All programmes are trauma-informed and respect individual pacing, comfort and choice. Most resources can be adapted for different physical, sensory or cognitive needs. If you have specific requirements, get in touch before booking and we can work out what will suit you best.

Can I do this even if I’ve tried therapy, coaching or self-help before?

Yes, and most people who come here have. The Happy Reset® method works differently to talking therapy or standard coaching because it starts with the body and nervous system rather than through tallking alone. For a lot of people that’s what makes the difference.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All pricing is clear, upfront, and includes VAT where applicable.

Do you offer refunds?

Nutrigenomics reports are non-refundable as testing costs are paid upfront on your behalf. For Reset 1:1 sessions, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Full details are in the terms and conditions.

Can I get a payment plan?

Yes. Payment plans are available for higher-value packages and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Get in touch to discuss.

The Happy Reset also operates a pay-it-forward model – every paying client contributes to making this work accessible to someone who couldn’t otherwise afford it. If you’re in genuine financial hardship, please get in touch. I keep a small number of spaces each month for people in need.

Do you offer workshops for teams or organisations?

Yes. Workplace Reset offers trauma-informed programmes for organisations looking to go beyond standard wellbeing provision – covering nervous system regulation, stress recovery and performance. Take a look at the Workplace Reset page for full details.

Are corporate sessions suitable for high-performance or fast-paced industries?

Absolutely. The work is practical and grounded – it’s designed to fit into high-pressure environments without adding to the load. Nervous system regulation and stress recovery aren’t soft options; they’re what keeps performance sustainable over time.

Can The Happy Reset® work with my existing employee wellbeing programme?

Yes. I can work alongside your existing EAP or deliver standalone sessions that complement what you already have in place.

Where should I begin?

The blog or signing up to my newsletter, is a good starting point if you want to get a feel for the work before committing to anything. If you’re ready to talk, book a Discovery Call and we can work out what makes sense for you.

For Reset 1:1, do I have to commit to a full programme right away?

No. Individual sessions are available if you want to start with something specific before committing to a full package. A Discovery Call is the best place to start – it’s 30 minutes and gives you a clear picture of what would suit you before you decide anything.

What makes this different from other wellness platforms?

The Happy Reset® method brings together modalities that aren’t combined on other wellness platforms – Trauma and Tensionrelease, Brainspotting, nutrigenomics and trauma-informed coaching – working with the whole person rather than individual symptoms. What runs through all of it is an understanding that most of what people are struggling with has roots that go back further than they realise.

This practice is incredible and Jo holds the space for it to feel so safe and really let go of the body so it can do its thing. I love how it is not a talking therapy.
